What is IUI
IUI - (Intrauterine Insemination) is the transfer of washed and prepared sperm into the uterine cavity by means of a fine catheter. The female partner undergoes mild ovarian stimulation and monitoring of the cycle to optimise the chances of success.
IUI may be performed with sperm from husband or donor.
