Dr. Shamoun graduated from Ainshams University and obtained a diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 1986. He contrinued structured training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Saudi Arabia, England, and throughout the whole of Ireland.
In 1993, he became a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, London (MBCOG) and in 1998 became a member of the Royal College of Physicians in Ireland (MRCPI).
Osman continued structured assisted conception training with Galway Fertility Clinic which he joined in 1997. In that year he also commenced a masters degree in Clinical Sciences at the University College Galway. In 2005 he became a fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRCOG).
In 2000, Dr. Shamoun joined Clane Fertility Clinic to continue his assisted conception work and he has been with us since.
Currently, Dr. Shamoun is the Person Responsible for Clane Fertility Clinic (a requirement under the EU Directive 2006 - Quality and Safety of Human Tissues and Cells).
