The underlying theory of ISO 9001:2008 is that the higher the quality of an organisation, the more satisfied the clients will be. The ISO standard addresses this in two ways:
- ISO requires that organisations measure client satisfaction directly. This is done by means of a questionnaire. As feedback from our clients is received, we can respond to changes that our clients require.
- By implementing the ISO standard, the organisation becomes more efficient. This efficiency enables the organisation to be more responsive to client demands and expectations.
